  5. Profile: Control is a highly functional mixed-mode warehouse management
  6. application that can be used in any type of racked, block stacked, shelved,
  7. binned or siloed storage environment. The system provides control of inventory
  8. by pallet, case, item, part item and weight with order picking and assembly
  9. from  both bulk store and forward picking locations. Functionality extends to
  10. full product tracking and recall to BS5750 and ISO9000 standards in multiple
  11. warehouses, product-dependent storage zones and storage parameters, QA
  12. hold/release, conditioning lead time, FIFO rotation, sell-by and best-before
  13. date control, vehicle booking, receipt scheduling and radio data
  14. communications. Management information includes aged stock analysis, slow
  15. movement reports, stock check and perpetual inventory counting, daily/weekly
  16. movement reports, supplier performance analysis and stock valuation over
  17. user-defined valuation parameters. The system is database-independent and can
  18. utilise any of the industry-standard proprietary databases. It can operate as a
  19. standalone application or fully integrated to the Profile: Distribution and
  20. Manufacturing Control systems.
